Welcome to North River Mobile Massage!

Hello, my name is Kurt and I am a Licensed Massage Therapist by the State of Michigan.  I am nationally Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, and hold Orthopedic Certification through the Center for Pain Management.  As an insured member of the American Massage Therapy Association, I have been a massage therapist since 2016.  My experience varies from working with athletes to working with people that experience a variety of autoimmune disorders.

I have completed over 1,000 hours of professional massage training in advanced massage and bodywork which includes the study of anatomy, physiology, and the clinical application of massage.  I acquired my training in Maryland at the Community College of Baltimore County, School of Health Professions and I achieved the School of Health Professions Outstanding Student Award in 2016.  I am experienced in the modalities of Orthopedic Massage - Certified, Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, Lymphatic Drainage Therapy, and Active Assisted Stretching.

What is a mobile massage therapist?  A mobile massage therapist provides services for clients at their home or their place of business.  This is especially valuable for those who have busy schedules, who may not have reliable transportation, or those who have difficulty leaving their home.  A mobile massage therapist brings a portable massage table and provides massage at a location that is convenient to you.
